Do you ever have a dream, wake up and say to yourself "boy, that was a weird dream"?
I have the same type of dreams often and they ALL have something to do with exercise. I get most of my workout routines from these weird dreams and I use them in my Boot Camp classes. If you are in one of my classes and I have this crazy look in my eye or that smirk on my face (which is most of the time), chances are I've thought of that crazy workout you're about to do, in my dreams...hence the name of my blog.
One of my 9 classes I teach a week
I also consider my job not a "job" at all...it's a DREAM for me to be a Fitness Instructor! You see, I gained ALOT of weight with both of my pregnancies. I'm talking a whole other person. (I'll post those pics when I can get my scanner to work)
When my youngest, Chief Me First, was a year old I decided I needed to lose that whole other person before my husband found someone else. He really wouldn't leave me and he never told me I was anything but beautiful but I was unhappy and nothing he said was going to make me feel happy about the way I looked and felt. I worked and worked at losing that baby weight. It took me a year of keeping a food journal and working out every stinkin' day for an hour to lose that weight.
It wasn't easy.
After my goal was met and both of my kids were in school I decided to help others in need of getting in shape and/or losing weight...And that, My Dear Friends, was the start of my DREAM.
I started this blog mainly because my friends told me I needed to and I follow a few blogs and I thought to myself "I can do that!".
So....here goes nuthin'...there's no turning back now!
These are the people that mean the most to me in this world.
Chief Me First, my 10 year old son and Banana Cakes, my 13 year old daughter
(this is what we call them at home so that's what I'll call them on here)
E-Dub, my husband and soul mate for 15 years
I plan on writing about fitness mostly but I love to talk about healthy eating, fashion, music and decorating so this will be a combo of everything fun!
Hope you enjoy and don't fall asleep!
Love, Rene'
